About Us

Our Story

Built by neighbors, for neighbors.

When Buladean Elementary School closed in 2013, the Buladean Community Foundation stepped in to purchase the building and transform it into a vibrant community center for our area. The early years were full of challenges: leaking roofs, plumbing and electrical issues—all tackled by our dedicated board members and volunteers.

Thanks to the support of our neighbors, county and state partners, and generous grants, the building is now stronger than ever. What began as a humble effort has grown into a thriving community hub, built on the hard work, dedication, and unwavering support of our team and neighbors.
